Terms and Conditions of Contracting

These general conditions regulate the rental of Lock&Store lockers at its location at Calle Esparteros, 9, Málaga, Spain. These conditions also govern the contractual relationship between Lock&Store and the User who contracts the locker service.

1. Our Lockers

Lock&Store offers its Users the possibility to rent any of its lockers for business days, meaning until 11:59 PM on the day of the reservation. We have a total of 34 lockers in different sizes and prices (VAT included):

  • Lockers size L: 398x570x409 mm - 10€/day
  • Lockers size XL: 841x570x409 mm - 12€/day

During the rental period, the user can access their belongings during the established hours from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM, every day of the year (except in case of occasional closure).

2. Price

The applicable prices for each type of locker are the ones indicated on the website at the time of the order. All prices displayed on the website include VAT. Lock&Store reserves the right to change prices at any time based on market conditions.

3. Operation

At Lock&Store, we have two methods for making a reservation: through the website www.lockandstore.es or directly at the location through the central locker where the entire reservation and usage process will be handled easily. To rent a locker, it is necessary to:

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Accept these general terms and conditions of hiring and usage.
  • Accept Lock&Store's privacy policy.

Payment is made securely via credit card.

4. Modification, Cancellation, and Refund of Services

Reservations made through the website can be canceled up to 24 hours before the reservation date. A 100% refund of the amount will be provided. To process the cancellation, the necessary details must be provided by calling or writing via WhatsApp to the phone numbers +34 744752021 / +34 744752020, or by written communication to the email address lockstoremalaga@gmail.com.

5. Incident Management

In case of a malfunction, blockage, or any other issue with the use of the locker, the User can contact Lock&Store's assistance service by calling or messaging via WhatsApp at +34 744752021 / +34 744752020, or by writing to the email address lockstoremalaga@gmail.com.

6. User Obligations

The User agrees to use the lockers only as a temporary storage place for their property, to use them properly without causing damage, and to comply with all legal regulations and the guidelines established by Lock&Store.

Storing hazardous, flammable, illegal items, or items of special value such as money, jewelry, or electronic devices is not allowed. Lock&Store is not responsible for the loss or damage of such items.

7. Consequences and User Responsibility in Case of Breach

In case of breach of obligations, Lock&Store may take measures, including the removal of stored items and imposition of financial penalties. Additionally, the User must compensate Lock&Store for any damages caused.

If necessary, Lock&Store will temporarily store the items and try to contact the User who failed to meet the rental deadline to manage the return of the items to the User (the cost of which will be borne 100% by the User).

After 5 days without being able to contact the User or without the User contacting Lock&Store and without being able to return the items, it will be considered that the items have been abandoned by the User for all purposes. In this case, Lock&Store will stop keeping them, giving them the appropriate or convenient disposal based on the type of abandoned items.

8. Lock&Store Obligations

Lock&Store is committed to maintaining the locker service and resolving any issues that arise during the use of the service as promptly as possible.

9. Limit of Liability and Insurance

Lock&Store is not responsible for the custody of stored items. However, we have insurance that covers losses due to theft up to a maximum amount, provided that the User meets the requirements and cooperates in the claim to the insurer.

10. Complaints

The User can file a complaint by sending an email to lockstoremalaga@gmail.com. If dissatisfied with the response, they may file a complaint with the relevant authorities.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These general conditions are governed by Spanish law, and any disputes will be resolved under Spanish jurisdiction.
